A Rene Lalique St Marc vase, designed 1939, the flattened cylindrical body moulded with bands and a row of doves to each side, in clear and frosted glass, inscribed R. Lalique France, 17 cm high. Provenance: Chenil Gallery, Chelsea, Mr Hans Mueller and Mrs Gertrud Mueller, Sydney, acquired from the above on 26 August 1988. Literature: Felix Marcilhac, R.
