Attrib. Bartolini Lorenzo Italian 1777-1850, white carrara marble bust of Louis Bonaparte, King of Holland 1778-1846 - unsigned. On a black marble socle. Accompanied by an original black and white photograph inscribed verso: 'Buste en marbre de Louis Napoleon Bonaparte comte de Saint - Leu-par Bartolini propriete de Mrs Royall Tyler [nee Elisina Palamidessi de Castelvecchio]. Also, a copy of notes from the historian Rene Puaux, mentioning the bust. Height 35 cm. Provenance: Count Louis de Castelvecchio 1826-1869; thence by direct descent to current owner - private collection, ACT.
