American manufactured antique and vintage silver baskets

Although we have separate categories for various types of silver baskets according to their catalogue description - bon-bon, bread, cake, fruit, sugar and other unspecified - these baskets were variable in their uses. They were made in a variety of shapes including circular, oval, and rectangular, mostly with a swing handle and sides pierced with geometric or scrolling shapes. Some have four feet while others stand on a rim.
