Royal Bonn porcelain was a German porcelain and earthenware manufacturer founded in 1836 by Franz Anton Mehlem in Bonn, Germany. The company produced high-quality works of both porcelain and earthenware, which soon became popular among the elite European aristocracy.
Mehlem was a skilled potter and artist, and he brought a great deal of talent and innovation to the Royal Bonn manufactory. He was particularly known for his use of delicate floral and landscape designs, which were often hand-painted in shades of blue, green, and yellow.
