Anne Gordon (1924-2007) was a Scottish artist and potter. She was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 1924. She studied art at the Edinburgh College of Art and the Royal College of Art in London. After graduating, she worked as a designer for Wedgwood and then as a freelance artist and potter. Gordon's pottery was known for its realistic and often humorous depictions of animals, birds, and fruits. She also created a number of abstract and figurative sculptures. Her work is held in many public collections, including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art in Edinburgh. Gordon was a member of the Royal Scottish Academy and the Royal Academy of Arts. She was also a recipient of the Saltire Society Award for Ceramics. She died in 2007 at the age of 82.
