A gentleman's gold openface pocket watch, John Adair, high Street, Dumphries, circa 1880's. 54 mm. Key wind. movement number 3033. Movement signed. Case engraved to reverse. White enamel dial, black Roman numerals, centre sweep seconds.18ct yellow gold. Total weight 115.79 grams. Curvette inscribed 'Presented to the Rev.d A. Smith, Townhead U.P church, by his congregation, on the occasion of his first anniversary, Dumfries, 11th Aug.1885.'
