An antique open face gold pocket watch by Cartier, crown wind, fifteen jewel movement, circular white dial signed 'Cartier Paris', with Arabic numerals,14ct gold case, serial number 2388, 45 mm diameter, with associated fancy link fob chain, total length 400 mm. Engraved inscription to the reverse reads 'in remembrance of this trip to Europe' 'Rattanakosiai year 126 Bangkok'(1908).Purported to be purchased in Paris by the late King of Thailand Chulalong Korn.
