A miniature jadeite inlaid silver furniture set, comprising a five panel screen, the three central silver panels with jadeite oval plaques on an openwork prunus ground between bands of shou medallions, the outer two panels with inscriptions in relief, a set of four armchairs, and a pair of rectangular side tables, the base of each marked, the screen 15 cm wide, the chairs 5 cm high, the tables 4 cm high. Provenance: Mr Cheong Fatt Tze (1840-1916), The Blue Mansion, Penang. Private Collection Melbourne, by descent from the above
