A grey pottery standing figure of an attendant Han dynasty, wearing a long robe folded across the chest and slightly flared above pantaloons and shoes, the hands protruding from the wide sleeves clasped in front as though holding a banner, the face with well defined features and hair covered with a close fitting cap, earth encrustation overall, perspex stand, 57.5 cm high. Provenance: Dragon Culture, Hong Kong. Private Collection, Hong Kong, acquired from the above circa 2000. The dating of this figure is consistent with the result of a thermoluminescense test, Oxford Authentication Ltd., no. C101g17
