Together with black cotton jersey badge with white embroidered fern and N.Z.E.F. [continues below]. Also a newspaper clipping featuring the original programme and describing the events. A.S.C. vs. New Zealand [All Blacks] at the Old deer Park, Kew Road Richmond. December 30th 1916.
A.S. Jeffs was Five-Eighths, text reads: 'The New Zealand team was called All Blacks but this was not a National team, the name probably referred to the colour of the playing uniform, A.S.C is thought to have stood for Armed Service Corp, the game was played in aid of war charities'.
