A fine Satsuma and gilt bronze banquet lamp, Meiji period, late 19th century, the slender ovoid lamp base with four alternating reserves of figural narratives and auspicious blossoms between brocaded borders, upon cast bronze mounts, with brass lamp fittings, a clear glass chimney and a milk glass spherical shade decorated with gilt dragons and bats, height 68 cm
