1910-13 British Antarctic Expedition: 1913 (Feb.14) telegram received at Bristol for delivery to Fry & Sons, the famous chololate manufacturers, who were financial supporters of Scott's Expedition and also supplied the drinking chocolate, so much appreciated by the expeditioners, Members deeply grateful kind message, Commander Evans. Admiral Edward Ratcliffe Garth Russell Evans (1881-1957), known as 'Teddy', was second in command on the Expedition and captain of the 'Terra Nova.'.
