A Rene Lalique 'Automine Surtout' figure, designed 1939, the figure symbolising the Autumn season, kneeling and clutching a bunch of grapes to her cheek, in frosted glass with a blue patina, inscribed 'R. Lalique France, 20 cm high. Provenance: All Chenil Gallery, Chelsea, Mr Hans Mueller and Mrs Gertrud Mueller, Sydney, acquired from the above on 26 August 1988. Literature: Felix Marcilhac, R.
