Two World War II war medals awarded to D. Matthews of the Northumberland Fusiliers, 7th Battalion, includes the 1939-45 Star and war medal. It is recorded that Matthews was a prisoner at P.O.W. Camp Stalag 344 at Lambinowice, Poland. Various printed records available.
