Three 1968 Billboard Special Surveys, from the estate of the late Mr Johnny Cash and Mrs June Carter Cash, each dated July 20, 1968, including two Hot Country Singles surveys with 'Folsom Prison Blues' listed as the number one song, and one Hot Country LPs survey with 'Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison' listed as the number one album, laminated on wooden bases. 43 x 21.5 cm, 43 x 21.5 cm and 43 x 15 cm. Accompanied by a letter from Russell Crowe stating his ownership. Provenance: Property from the Estate of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, Sotheby's, New York, 14-16 September 2004, lot 126. Mr Russell Crowe, Sydney, acquired from the above. I bought these mounted Billboard charts from the Sotheby's New York Estate of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash auction in 2004. They were in Johnny Cash's office at home until he passed away. I have had them displayed at my house, but also at the Museum of Interesting Things in Nymboida, New South Wales.' Russell Crowe
