A small coral-ground famille-rose bowl, 20th century, painted on the exterior in bright enamels with different flowering plants, including peonies, lilies and asters, reserved on the rich coral-red ground, the interior glazed in white, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with an apocryphal four-character seal mark of Qianlong, wood box. 6.5 cm diameter. Compare with a ruby-ground bowl dated to the early 20th century with an apocryphal Yongzheng mark from the T.Y. Chao Family Collection, sold Sotheby's, Hong Kong, 30 November 2017, lot 332.
