A Chinese blue and white shipwreck plate, late Ming Dynasty, early 17th century painted underglaze with two hummingbirds surrounded by flowering plants, a border of fish scale decoration and five oval cartouches each with two sprays of flowers and blossom, the reverse with scrolling spray.
