A Chinese archaic style nephrite jade Cong 20th century, the colour of the cong ranging from pale celadon to brown and russet, carved with archaistic motifs including spirals. Together with a fitted wooden stand and old padded box, and original receipt, the jade, 10.3 cm high, 6.6 cm diameter, with stand 13.2 cm high. Provenance: Purchased from Cheong Kee & Co, Sinagpore, 1961.
