Two famille-rose 'figural' plaques, 20th century, both of rectangular form, one depicting Tao Yuanming appreciating chrysanthemum flowers, the sage conversing with a young boy carrying a jardiniere of flowers in a garden setting, artist's seal of Wang Dafan in iron-red lower right, the other depicting the story of Su Shi visiting the Red Cliff, with three figures in a boat, one with his hand raised pointing to the moon rising above rocky cliffs whilst his companions look up in that direction, an inscription in black signed Wang Dafan and dated renwu (1942) with a red seal, both framed, (2), 46 x 29.5 cm (each, including frame)
