A pair of square-corner 'flower and bird' hardwood display cabinets Liang'ge gui, 20th century, the upper display shelf of each framed by pierced scrolling dragons around the top and sides, and with a gallery carved with foliate scrolls below, all above the pair of doors each with two recessed panels, the upper panels carved in relief with medallions enclosing a pair of song birds perched on prunus branches, the lower panels carved with pairs of phoenix in flight above flowering peony and rockwork, the doors opening to reveal a shelf above two rectangular drawers, the separate stand with shaped apron joined to short cabriole legs, baitong lock fittings and drawer pulls, (2), 190 cm high, 103 cm wide, 46.5 cm deep
