A Fernando and Humberto campana Favela chair, originally designed 2003, manufactured Edra 2003, Brazilian, constructed piece-by-piece from the wood used to build the favelas (Brazilian shanty towns), hand-glued and nailed together, each piece is unique. Pine, birch plywood frame. Unmarked, height 76.5 cm, width 65.5 cm, depth 61.5 cm, purchased Edra, London 2003, Literature: campana Brothers: complete works (so Far), Alfred, Sudjic, Edelkoort and Hamel, pp. 86.
