A Chinese Thai market polychrome Bencharong bowl, 19th century, with a wide frieze depicting six Buddhas within flaming mandorla between, patterned borders, decorated in the Norasingh style of Thailand in red, pink, green, yellow and white enamels over a black ground, the interior centred, with a stylised flower on a teal ground, with copper rim and foot ring, height 8 cm diameter 15.5 cm
