Dixon, Robert., This Map of the Colony of New South Wales, Exhibiting the Situation and Extent of The Appropriated Lands, including the Counties, Towns, Village-Reserves, &c Compiled from Authentic Surveys &c. is respectfully Dedicated to Sir John Barrow Bart. President of the Royal Geographical Society., [London: engraved by J. & C. Walker, published by J. Cross, 20 July, 1837.], Hand-coloured, with a detailed inset map of Australia, segmented and linen-backed as issued. A highly detailed and impressive map which includes the names of the principal landholders. Attractively framed & glazed, overall 131 x 82.5 cm. Provenance: Peter Arnold Auction, 25 March 2014, Lot 167.
