A Philippine Bulul figure, Ifugao, Lagawe, Northern Luzon, first half 20th century, the consecrated rice deity figure carved with a lizard on its back, carved from narra wood, 43 cm high. Provenance: acquired in Lagawe by an Australian teacher working in Luzon during the 1970s.
