A beautiful star sapphire and diamond cluster ring, 14ct yellow and white gold, European manufacture, designed as a classically proportioned oval cluster ring, set with central oval cabochon star sapphire of vibrant blue colour, weighing approximately 17.50ct, measuring 12.87 x 11.5 mm, visible asterism through stone, claw set within a surround of twelve brilliant cuts totalling approximately 2.40ct, all of fine quality, set to a diamond set shoulder and smooth gold band.
