Friday, 17 September 1971 original Weg poster carrying his representation of 'Alf's Tip' (Alf Brown, the Chief Football writer for The Herald). The Hawthorn 'Hawk' towers over a scrabbling Saint and Tiger (about to face each other in the preliminary final). He turned out to be correct, of course, with Hawthorn defeating St.Kilda in the Grand Final by 7 points in front of a crowd of more than 118,000 people. Extremely scarce, only the second example we have offered. In very good condition except for a couple of minor paper losses at right.
