Chartered by the New Zealand Company to sail from Gravesend the 15th June (1842) calling at Plymouth to embark passengers. John grey, Commander. Printed form on conjugate leaves 33 x 21 cm. Poop, between decks, dining room, Victualling Scheme for Intermediate cabin passengers. The New Zealand Company originated in 1839 in London with the aim of promoting the 'Systematic' colonisation of New Zealand & became involved in the settling of Wellington, Nelson, Wanganui, Dunedin, Christchurch & new Plymouth.
