Charles and Ray Eames (American, 1907-1978 and 1912-1988), pair of shell chairs, designed 1948/ c. 2008, manufactured by Vitra, red plastic shell seat with chrome steel eiffel tower base, each retains manufacturers decal label, one rubber foot missing (2), height 81 cm. Provenance: lobby of Grovesnor place designed by Harry Seidler, Sydney.
