Rare early incised club, Victoria. This is an unusual shaped club, the with shaft and head are adorned with finely incised crosshatching designs. Ribbed pointed end to handle. Carved and engraved hardwood (with custom stand). Provenance: Ex Byron Clear Collection, New South Wales, D'Lan Davidson Australian Indigenous Art, Lake Collection, Sydney. Approx. length 76 x 5 cm
