Early Aboriginal hunting spear. A cylindrical two piece spear with a wooden shaft, hafted with sinew. The spear has a flattened elliptical wooden head, and the shaft is hafted with sinew at the distal end. Carved hardwood, sinew and spinifex resin. Provenance: Collected 1920's John Stanley Leitch.
