A sapphire and diamond suite, circa 1900, comprising of a brooch, bracelet and earrings, each set with a cushion-shaped sapphire within a surround of old-European cut diamonds, estimated total diamond weight 3.80 carats, gross weight approximately 32.40 grams, mounted in platinum topped 18ct gold, length of bracelet 16.00 cm, length of brooch 4.50 cm, length of earrings 1.50 cm. Accompanied by two GSL reports: no. AA64547/1 dated 18 December 2020, stating that the sapphire weighing 1.97 carats is Ceylon origin with no evidence of heat treatment. No. AA64537/2 dated 18 December 2020, stating that the sapphire weighing 1.90 carats is of Ceylon origin with no evidence of heat treatment.
