Essendon: Original preliminary artwork for Weg poster for 1952 Brownlow Medallist Bill Hutchison, framed & glazed, overall 59 x 93 cm. Artwork has some repairs, as it was used by Weg as a cutting board. Together with framed Weg Brownlow Medal posters for Roy Wright in 1952 & Bill Hutchison in 1953. [Richmond's Roy Wright had equal votes and was awarded the 1952 medal on countback. Hutchison won the Brownlow Medal in 1953, and in 1989 was retrospectively awarded another Brownlow Medal for the 1952 season. The Weg Brownlow posters were issued c.1998] (Qty 3)
