The Cricket Picture: Sussex vs Kent (with Bonus Photograph)

Literature: 'The story of a cricket picture (Sussex & Kent)' as told by the late Alfred D. Taylor ('Willow Wielder'), published by Emery & Son (Hove, Sussex, 1923), the picture in question being Mason's famous engraving of 1849 match between Sussex and Kent, this edition includes a typed note from cricket researcher Irving Rosenwater informing the recipient Tony Baer that an additional image (a photograph of the entrance to the Ireland's gardens ground in Brighton) has been inserted after publication, and does not appear in other copies of the book, rebound (c.1935), in half leather with cloth boards and new end papers, to accommodate the additional photograph.
