New South Wales Sheffield shield team: Southern Tour 1929-30: the official NSW team photograph by Krischock, Adelaide, with Kippax as Captain and Don Bradman next to him in the front row. Laid down on the original backing card, overall 30 x 38 cm. While Victoria won the shield, Bradman scored the most runs in the whole competition, 894. In the match in Adelaide, Bradman made a duck in the first innings and 84 in the 2nd. South Australia won by 5 wickets. Hooker took 4 wickets for the match. Provenance: from the estate of 'Hal' Hooker, New South Wales.
