Autograph Book Pages from 'Blackpool Test' 1938

England XI V Australians (the 'Blackpool Test'), Aug.31: Sep.1, 1938: two autograph book pages with signatures of 8 English players including. Bill Edrich, Denis Smith, Stan Worthington & George Duckworth plus 11 Australian players including Stan McCabe, bill O'Reilly, bill brown, Lindsay Hassett and Sid Barnes, also newspaper cut-out images of both teams. Australia won this low scoring three-day game by10 wickets within two days, Both pages are from the autograph book of Lucy Morton who won gold in the 200m breaststroke at the 1924 Olympics. Morton lived in Blackpool and one page is annotated in her hand 'Australia Aug 31/38'.
