Australia's Own Football': 78rpm recording by Jack O'Hagan on B.E.A. (Broadcast exchange of Australia) label, housed in inner sleeve, c.1950s. Low survival rate. Jack 'O'Hagan was a prolific Australian songwriter, appointed MBE in 1983. His most famous composition 'Along the Road to Gundagai' sold 40,000 to 50,000 copies in the first 3 months. Many of his recordings were sports-related including. 'Our Don Bradman (1930) which sold than 40,000 copies of sheet music within the first week.
