Melbourne Cup: 'The running of the Melbourne Cup, 1933' Columbia records 78rpm recording of the broadcast description by Eric Welch, backed by 'Race Your Fancy' on the B side. The 12 inch record is housed in an original Columbia records paper sleeve. Won by 'Hall Mark', this was only the second time that the Melbourne Cup was broadcast by radio. The ABC had only been created the previous year.
