A Khmer stone head of Buddha Mukhalinda; Bayon period, late 12TH/Early 13th century; carved from sandstone, with a radiant smiling face, backed by a mandorla of serpents, on a fitted black stand. Height 23 cm, width 19.5 cm (height 28.5 cm with stand). Provenance: The sculpture gallery, Hong Kong. Acquired from above early 1990s.
