A Thai polychrome wood standing Buddha, early 20th century, the serene figure in subdued red tones with some remnant gilt standing on a lotus dais above a flat plinth, the figure with tightly coiffed hair, pendulous lobes and painted eyes, one hand holding a small object, the other lifting gathered vestments, the hems with relief decorations and glass mirror floral embellishments, a glass bead headband to the forehead, height: 108 cm, width 50 cm
