Features monogram coated canvas exterior with brown leather trim, a leather top handle and four protective brass feet at base of bag. Zip closure with locking feature opens to a single compartment interior with chocolate brown fabric lining and two garment straps. Brass hardware. Approximately 70 x 56 cm. Handle drop 6 cm. Comes with key for lock. This bag was manufactured by French Co. USA under special license. Louis Vuitton and French Co. collaborated between 1970 and 1990, in order to meet overwhelming demand in the US for travel luggage. These pieces were sold through high end retailers such as Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. The French Co. bags are An important part in the history of one of the world's most recognisable luxury brands. There was a limited number of these bags made, making them a true collector's item.
