Spear thrower (woomera), Eastern Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, carved wood, spinifex resin and natural pigment (with custom stand) a wooden spear thrower painted with natural pigments. A wooden peg is secured with resin at the distal end. Length 73 x 4.5 cm. Provenance: Collected by Reverend Harold Shepherdson Millingimbie Mission 1920-1924 Jeff Fischer, Adelaide.
