Queensland At The 1876 Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition. Illuminated presentation certificate, hand-illustrated and with calligraphy by H.W. Fox, the recipient being Angus Mackay, who was the Commissioner for Queensland at the exhibition, which took place between May and November 1876. The certificate is dated 27th February, 1877 and is signed 'on behalf of your Fellow Colonists' by W.W. Cairns, the Governor of Queensland between 1875 and 1877. Framed & glazed; overall 55.5 x 40 cm.
