15ct gold fob (soldier on shield with boomerang, kangaroo and emu) suspended from a black silk band together with two 9ct gold shields and links (approx. 10gms total). The fob, engraved verso 'Presented to Pte. A.W. McCullough, 21st Batt. A.I.F. by the Citizens of Yackandandah, March 1919.', Arthur Welshman McCULLOUGH of Yackandandah, Victoria, enlisted in February 1916 and joined the 21st Battalion, 14th Reinforcement. He departed aboard Hmat A32 Themistocles in July 1916 and returned in January 1919, having been wounded in action on several occasions.
