Rare. [Known as the 'Battle of the long Count', the fight took place at Chicago's soldiers field - billed as the largest stadium in the world - with attendance estimated at 104,000. In the seventh round, Dempsey unleashed a flurry of punches knocking the Tunney into the ropes, where he went down. Dempsey stood over Tunney and ignored the referee's request for him to go to his corner; accordingly the referee delayed his count and it is estimated that Tunney was down for 13-17 seconds instead of the allotted ten.
