Pounamu hei-tiki by Alan brown (ngati Ruaka), finely carved 20th century example. Kawakawa variety stone with titled head and with broad shoulders and arms to thighs. Cut and serrated paua shell eyes, pierced to the back of the head for suspension, 12 x 9 cm
