Stunning and rare Russian silver and enamel regimental mitre cap charka, mark 84, Moscow, K.P (for Constantin Prokotiev who worked for Kortman), in the form of a parade shako of the Pavlovsky Infantry Regiment of the Imperial guard, by the firm of Eduard Kortman, the front piece chased and engraved with double headed eagle and applied with the star of St. Andrew indicating it was for Imperial guards and an award for the 1877 campaign of the Russo-Turkish war, 12 October 1877, the back with deep red and white enamel and accented with flaming pots for the order of St. George, marks to interior, missing plume to top, total weight 216gm, height 7 cm.
