A rare blue and white dish, Kangxi period (1662-1722) the dish is delicately decoratred in a central medallion with four boys playing with leaves beneath an overhanging bough, the exterior cavetto with a continuous scene of children playing at various games, in garduated tones of cobalt blue, with an apocryphal chenghua six-character underglazed blue mark on the base within a double circle, 15 cm diameter.
