Early engraved boomerang, Western New South Wales / Southern Queensland. Carved and engraved hardwood. Of bi-convex section with clipped ends, face engraved with sinuous designs, possibly representing the travels of a dreaming Ancector or the course of a river system, old patina overall, length 70 x 5.5 cm.
