A rare Royal Doulton gannet figure in naturalistic colours. With two paper labels affixed partly over stamped Royal Doulton mark. Labels 'Doulton & Co Limited' and 'Bradley British (?illegible) Sc 781', the other 'HN195 Cm/Z 1/24'. '243' is incised under the tail. Made in January 1924 this colourway does not appear in the Royal Doulton animals book, width 28 cm, height 16.5 cm.
