Oskar Barnack the inventor of the Leica camera and Father of 35 mmZ photography would have turned 100 in November of 1979. He built his first 35 mmZ body in 1914 and it became the prototype for the world's first commercially built 35 mmZ cameras, the first Leica of 1925.
